ESA BIC Bavaria is proud to announce that ReActive Robotics, an ESA BIC incubatee, received a seven-digit investment. This new investment of Dr. Doll Holding GmbH is contrived to accelerate the international market entry. MTIP MedTech Innovation Partners AG, High-Tech Gründerfonds as well as Bayern Kapital and TQ-Group already invested in ReActive Robotics in their Series-A financing round.

ReActive Robotics is striving to revolutionise early movement rehabilitation in the health sector: It designs, manufactures, and sells rehabilitation robots that automate gait rehabilitation in the ICU at a very early stage, just 48 hours after the onset of neurological injury or joint replacement surgery. These devices attach directly to the patient’s bed, eliminating the need for dangerous transfers onto separate devices. They are used for the gait rehabilitation of neurological patients following a central nervous injury and by orthopaedic patients after joint replacement.
ReActive Robotics’ mission is to enable clinicians, particularly in intensive care, to provide the best possible care to neurological and orthopaedic patients and help them recover from their injuries. ReActive Robotics aims to revolutionise the way gait rehabilitation is performed and supports patients across the globe in regaining their independence after a life-changing injury or surgery.

The ESA BIC Bavaria seeks entrepreneurs using space technologies in a non-space environment. That does not mean rocket science, but applies to multiple application fields such as navigation and positioning, communications techniques, Earth observation, materials, processes, signals or robotics.
